Hope Animal Network

Guidelines | Code of Conduct

This online community was created for everybody with an interest in animal welfare. And by "everybody" we mean ANYBODY! Well, kind-of.

If your interest is in selling puppies, giving tours of new puppy mills, recruiting dogs for fighting, offering cheap fur coats or otherwise being an idiot (and we say that lovingly), then skip off. Not only will we boot you off the site, but I'll personally hunt you down (I'm kidding, right?)

The community is open in nature and has few restrictions. However, there are certain guidelines users must abide by to keep the community running smoothly:
  1. Be nice! No flaming. Don't be offensive (not even a little).
  2. Although we respect different views, but keep in mind that this is an Animal Welfare Community. Folks here don't like stuff that flows against the grain (see threat in first paragraph above).
  3. Please don't explicitly promote your business, products or services. Recommending people, products and services is permitted as long as it is done so in relevant, contextual discussions.
  4. If you have constructive criticism for anyone here please be tactful.
  5. Please respect different cultural backgrounds, experience, education, technology prowess and "webiquette" of posters. Not everyone has rescued 1,500 animals and types 120 wpm. :-)
  6. Don't post confidential, sensitive or protected information from any entity.
Reporting abuse / questionable behavior:
To report site abuse, please contact the site administrator.

Dealing with site mis-conduct:
We reserve the right to ban users, delete specific content or remove all content and profile information associated with any individual user. We'll definitely give a warning or advice to the uninitiated, but will ban any blatant abuse outright.
