- I am in the process of opening an animal-themed retail store that raises money for animal rescue programs. I have rescued many animals in my lifetime including all of our pets. Henry, my deaf dalmatian, has been a huge recent inspiration in my life.

- I believe in the mission of Hope Animal Network. It is smart and solution-oriented, and gives everyone a chance to be involved. The community of Hope Animal Network is making a difference for current and future generations of animals in developing countries.

- Hanging out at home, the beach or a park with my husband and our dogs; reading, movies, singing in my car.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mother. I lost mine four years ago so I have some idea of the pain you're going through. You have all my sympathies and prayers. Thanks for your nice words about Sheba. Her fur is already looking much better and she's putting on weight. Yes, keep positive about the store, and I'm sure it will all happen for you soon. If youhave tome please could I ask you to check out my blog post about the book awards and maybe cast your votes forme and Tilly? The poll closes tonight and I'd really appreciate every vote I can get. If not, I fully understand as you must be so busy with everything right now.

How are you? I hope the new store development is proceeding well. I've told vivian at 4RV Publishing to expect a contact from you, probably by email, and she'll now know who you are when she sees your name. Believe it or not I've even had interest in Tilly's Tale from a Dog Magazine in India of all places!
Tilly is currently sitting on her special cushion beside my computer chair while I'm working. she rarely leaves my side, day or night, bless her.
anyway, just wanted to say hello and also wish you a happy forthcoming
holiday season.
